Conley Bottom Resort

We stayed at the campground for 2 days. I’m pretty sure it is the only campground that is right on the water of lake Cumberland. The view was fantastic! My only complaint for the campground are that the campsites are small and I wish you had a little more room to yourself but it wasn’t an issue really because most of the spots were open. If it were packed I would have been a little uncomfortable. I also wish there were more hiking spots in the area. I only noticed one and it was not a good trail. However, we went there for the lake and not for hiking anyway. The rental prices for their pontoons were way cheaper than other marinas that we looked at and that’s why we choose this resort. Our family had a blast on the pontoon for the day and that was the most important part for us. The restaurant was mediocre, but the actual marina itself was great. I also noticed a lot of litter in the area. Not just the marina but the lake in general. I wish the locals would take more pride in their environment and clean up after themselves. With all that being said, I would definitely recommend Conley Bottom to anyone who is there for the purpose of lake activities.

We spent a week on a houseboat with 8 people. The staff at CB was fantastic. They were there to help us load and unload our personal belongings. The boat was ready for us when we arrived. They have older boats then some of the other rentals, but the boat was very well maintained and clean. Some other notes. If you are going to use the oven, bring oven mitts and something to place a hot pan on. Find out where the water gage is so you can see what is left in the tank. We will be going back to rent again!! They were the nicest folks! We were there today to see how we liked it, the man at the gatehouse was super friendly, gave us a map and showed us our location, told us to feel free to look over the entire resort, we were definitely impressed by the cleanliness and organization, even the other campers were friendly and waiving at us as we took the fifty cent tour. This is where I want to stay and this where I recommend staying! To be continued...

We are down here for a bachelor party and had some issues to deal with on our house boat that we rented from another marina. Jeremy, Nate and others were absolutely incredible. They not only solved all of our issues, they did it with a sincere want to help, something that’s harder and harder to come by these days. We will be back again and next time we will be renting our boats from Conley! Thank you for the warm hospitality and kindness, you have customers for life and we will be telling everyone to come to you!

Wonderful place! Didn't rate rooms because didn't stay in a room. We just rented boats with the family. I like this better than the other marinas we've went to. A little quieter than some of the others. The gift shop area is nice, though my wife wishes they woulda kept the fridges SLIGHTLY better stocked for those of us who forget our burgers at home (doh!). That ain't their fault though, and we were able to find bologna so that we didn't have to leave to go back to the grocery store. Place is clean for a marina. Feels family friendly without feeling uptight. I think it's about as good as you can get in the area. Prefer it over the other big guys.
